I think I saw these in a Lincolnshire model shop a few months ago; the link doesn't seem to be working, but is it the 'Karl' and 'Loki' models you mean Jimbo?
I was very tempted to buy a pair; rather cheaper than a CI or Ordinatus from Ebay! I'm looking at their paper catalouge now, and the other 1:144 models all look useful for bits.

I've seen these in my study of history, they could almost be used stock ! Both the mortar and train ! I think G/W may have gotten some ideas from history ... again !

That wouldn't surprise me.
There was one German plan for a city fighting machine which basically was a WWII Capitol Imperialis.
Design studies found at Krupp showed a version of the Maus carrying a 305mm breech-loading mortar, named 'Bear', and a giant 1500-ton vehicle with a 800mm gun as main armament and two 150mm guns in auxiliary turrets on the rear quarters. This vehicle put forward by two engineers named Grote and Hacker was planned to be powered by four U-boat diesel engines.

The 1500 ton vehicle is the one I was talking about. I have seen a pic of it somewhere but can't find it. Here's more info: P1000/P1500

Just back from a weekend in Lincolnshire, and I am now the owner of the #7 "Karl" box, which comes with another tank (can't recall what model off the top of my head) - its a great little kit, superbly detailed for its size!
It all seems to fit together very well; I plan on using the gun as in an objective or orbital defence scenery piece, and the chassis as a massive service transporter for the Pegasus.
The tracks are cast in a slightly flexible rubbery plastic, and it looks like if you cut them down, they would be the perfect size for a Capitol Imperialis missing the orginal tracks.

Hi!
Very interesting models Jimbo, I could definitely see using the train mounted cannon as a praetorian of some sort.
