Oh, and if you have one finished already... WHERE ARE THE PICS?? Not posting pics is a treason, citizen. Not having a digicam is not an excuse as R&D has a fusion powered multi-spectrum prototype ready for field testing. |
Well as Mojarn Piett suggested i post some pics here is the link.
MSN unfortunately resizes some of the pics but... what can you do eh.
There are 2 crusaders, 1 prometheus, 1 helios, and 4 landraiders. They are all based on the metal command landraider from E40k era. However as i wanted to have the varient landraiders in there i thourght it would be better to turn them from mkII to mkIII landraiders. So i set about creating new sponson weapons, filling in the front hatch, and attaching track guards.
This is where the heavy bolters came from for the prometheus. They are the heavy bolters cut from the top of the landraider to make room for assault cannons on the crusader etc.
The terminators have all the different weapons in there at some point, assault cannons, cyclones, heavy flamers, lightning claws, thunder hammers and storm sheilds, and somewhere amongst it all a chainfist.
There is a standard bearer, techmarine, apothecarie, chaplain, and grand master in there somewhere too.
However i didnt use the fusion powered multi-spectrum prototype, just a few quick snaps with the digicam.

I am always very interested in other people's armies, and fellow DA players in particular. Yours puts mine to shame- I love the conversions.

Thanks folks
I have got step by step pictures somewhere of how the landraiders were converted. I am going to put together a 'how to' at some stage. Along with building a decent website.... and painting them... and converting some eldar stuff..... and painting some eldar stuff..... and converting some chaos stuff.... and painting some chaos stuff.... yadda yadda.. bla bla.. etc etc
So when i get round to it, i'll post it. Same old story lots you want to do but no time to do it, so dont hold your breath.
