Now that I've finished my last project (can't mention or this'll get locked :-), I'm back working on my third Chaos army... Slaanesh.

I'm trying to to build two Sonic weapons to mount on the top of my Slaanesh Titan.

Any ideas how these would look like?

So far I've used those radar dishes from some IG big war machines (there's 3 versions of them and very rare ones), but not sure how to model the barrell of the weapon.

Any ideas?

Oh, one weapon arm is a whip, so what do you think i should have on the other?

Not that great an image but I based mine on the Titan Multiple Rocket launcher and added some mesh on the front to make it look like some sort of a giant loudspeaker. I'm going to remodel it slightly though as it looks a bit tall and unbalances the model as it is right now.

Cheers! :)

Hi!

I wish I knew how to model with putty, it makes those chaos titans look a lot better.

Hmmm - plastic square section, with a couple of 40k Necron heads glued to the front and blended with modelling putty, if you want to keep a similar style to the Dreadnought. With half-round plastic sections glued on to add detail. Add further detail in plasticard. Of course that would leave the 'radar dishes' (from Ordinatus Mars?) free for other stuff....  :D

Yeah, that's the one. Ordinatus Mars.

Nah, gonna leave the radar dish on it as it looks pretty cool. Amplifies the sound as it looks like speakers. Just need the cannon barrell.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try and model it like the Dreadnought in Forgeworld... just hope I don't quit trying.

Good luck Lextar - and remember, whatever you build always looks better once undercoated, so if it doesn't look just right when assembled, it might just do so once undercoated. As the paintwork dept. manager used to say, putty and paint make the devil a saint - not sure Slaanesh  would appreciate that, though... :p

I agree 100%. I can not tell you how many times with 40k we would bash something together and be unsure until it was primed and base coated.
