How can someone throw away something they?ve obviously spent a fair bit of time on?? Quite a nice paint job on that stuff Daf, you got yourself an insane bargain!

The bright blue cockpit canopy is bit horrid though.... :;):

Now you guys can understand why I was so shocked to hear this person tossed other stuff in the past. Further, you can also see why I was so angry. It is one thing to toss a broken mini because you feel it is unfixable. He was tossing stuff because he was bored with it.  :o   :{

Well, as I have said, I told him I would beat him if I caught him tossing any more minis.  :blues:

He agreed to give them to me for resale and a share of the money. Going forward his minis will have a chance of finding a new home.

I do not pretend to agree or really understand the thinking, but here are some facts.

He and his wife are both working in good jobs and they have no kids. He seems to find more fun in the first period of collecting, selecting the paint scheme, and painting up some units. It seems , in listening to him, that at some point he becomes distracted by the possability of another army or even another game. At that point he no longer wants the army he is working on. Thus, in this case, he wants to do some Marines, so the IG is out. Painting stops where he is, thus one finished omber and one half finished for example. And in the past, toss...  :oo

I can understand wanting to clear up the space or starting over but those are good real good.
