*** How do you model baggage for 6mm vehicles (Crates, boxes, rolls, etc.)? ***

*** Or do you model baggage at all? ***

Some of the SG responses:

Brodersalsa: However I can only recomend making your own details such as sandbags, camouflage netting, blanket rolls etc. Using Green Stuff it is surprisingly easy to achieve a decent result.

For Sand Bags roll a sausage of GS and place it on the model . Then cut it into sandbag sized slices and gently prss them on the middle with a round object. Once dry you can add another layer of sandbags to build up an entire wall.

Camouflage netting is done by placing a flat piece of GS and drag threads down the side of the vehicle.

Boxes can be made with pieces of plastic or matches, Blanket rolls with either toilet paper and strings or sausages of GS where you sculpt a bit of roope to hold it together.

Maksim: This may sound funny...

But I've found that webbing uquipment and bed rolls for 10mm, 15mm, HO, 20mm and 28mm figures to look good as Epic baggage as well.

I've been collecting left-over IG pouches, grenades and the like for some time. My newer Crimson Fists SM army will have tricked-out vehicles.

Lion in the Stars: You can also use cheesecloth, gauze, or tissue to make camo nets and tarps. A lot of the 1/35th armor nuts do.

Thanks for sharing this Maksim. Makes for some good models when they all look unique. Lots of work, but when done well, looks great.

Aluminum foil works wonderfully for baggage rolls in Epic scale!
