Hi All,

Does anybody have a closeup pic of the void spinner turret? I've got a bit of an idea for a conversion but having never seen one of these tanks first hand I'm not sure if it'll work.

thanks for any help.

Excuse the terrible paint job (I just quickly splodged on the 3 colours I needed to make it legal for a tournament), but I have a photo from the one I recently sold on eBay if it helps?

beautiful, you've saved me a bundle.

I was looking at a conversions for a counts as hornet using just the turret, the void spinner seemed like the best idea because it already has weapon mounts either side of the cockpit. However the cockpit is quite far forwards making the 2 front prongs seem quite short and stubby which makes the whole thing look quite chunky and not very elegant.

What I think I'll have a go at is using the scorpion turret, remove the pulsars and carve back to the cockpit to make the front prongs flow a little better, then build up two pods with green stuff above the cockpit to each side to mount the pulse lasers. Then all I'll have to do is mount two spare engines (cut off the now defunct scorpion chasis) below the overhanging tail and green stuff in the ribbed grav plate esque things on the underside.

Going from this

to something like this

Anybody forsee any problems, I think the hardest bit will be cutting back into the main body because of the large mouting peg currently there, any advice on how to do this?
