![]() ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyCrjeENmis So many little bits... o so many little bits... I have to add the side guard on the thigh, add some ribbing on the leg frame and some rivets (what is the reccomended rivet size again?) I'm thinking i may need to ad some 'ribbing' between the back of the big piston and the back of the leg, so it casts properly, that could be trimmed away with a hobby knife like flash (ps this will be the left leg) (pps youtube vid changed to truesilver armour. I can't get a good avi render out of my program on this machine so I just installed virtualdub for avi creation. great little program! with my system set up to rock and roll now i will finish the leg tomorrow, onto the feet and titan underpants.) |

On the back of the leg, where you show 2 pistons and a pair of cables going to those pistons, I suggest you make that into a single piston with a single cable. The undercut is minor, but having a single piston (instead of the appropriate two) will save you some hassle for casting, and making the change won't 'ruin' the model for any reasonable person. |

I was thinking of kind of plugging that middle area up with a triangular blocking piece extending out to the top of the 'ankle' piston. Should fix a few probs, will post example tomorrow. |

When you design the crotch, be sure to put the word "TITAN" on there. |

If it wasn't floating I'd be totally fooled into thinking you were just taking photos of a finished model! That's just amazing work |

Lightwave native renderer with 3 lights, no gi in this shot but rendering an anim using final gather, gnats pube of a difference in look though. Surface is reflective with an hdr image map. I do lots of light setup and surface fakery at my job ;-) Ps, this is the paint scheme for my epic/40k gk army- have the chrome paint and airbrush in the mail |
