Very-very-very-very-very-very cool. Instructions for stealing of idea, please. Preferably with loads of details and pics :-)

very nice. celestine on the front in the place of the I might work well. i'd also want the statues to be the same, mirrored if possible, on both sides. and i intend to beef up the pipes at the back, give it a pipe organ feel
but yes, very nice

Nice ideas, I am building an organ/large exorcist separately which I may try to recreate or fit on here as well. The I is the emblem for the Ecclesiarchy so I'd prefer to keep it there as they are separate from the normal SoBs, just to make it stand out. It was the big idea I drew up for my leviathan conversion that didn't come to pass. I want to go with a rag tag selection of Imperial heroes for the statues rather than have total symetry which I'll admit is tempting.

Yup it's to represent a Cathedral of Purification from Zombo's Adeptus Ministorum list, Link

For the Cathedral? That's easy.

Buy this:

Decorate with these:

And some spare heroic looking 6mm figures.
There is a smaller brass eagle set if you don't have anything to use the bigger ones for.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

Ah, I seem to have missed this "little" gem. Nice substitute for the various old IG WEs.

I've started on my Emperor's Chapels

Not sure about the prometheum tank, thoughts?

Also finished the main weapon and inferno cannon turrets on the cathedral.

A spare shoulder on one of my Warlords may give others some ideas.

Next up I need to make some prototype Exorcist launchers, I'm thinking of mounting them on the chapel/cathedral sponsons.

Been painting too, but only Necrons, will need to update the other thread...

C&C? Thoughts?

Aye, it's almost like the werewolf planned it that way, my personal favourite is the Vulcan mega bolter. I'm actually looking at my current titan models to maybe refit 1 or 2 with these awesome bitz.

Well I'm happy with these Exorcist Launchers, done more in the style of the current model

For those of you unfamilliar with what an Exorcist launcher is, here's a Lexicanum link:

As these are meant to be mobile chapels I've gone for the decorative look as opposed to the missile pods seen on my rhino based exorcists.

More angles

How about with prometheum tanks on the sides?

Love them? Hate them? I'd love to see some oppinions here.

The exorcist launchers are very cool and fluffy, nice job (I'm working on SoBs too, and probably will have to steal that one).

Personally, I'd leave the fuel tank off. Never cared for the IG flame thrower armor that make the fuel tanks a target for the enemy, or set the fuel over the engine like a Molatov cocktail supplement.
I'm not big on real armor, but I think the US, Germans, and Russians always carried the the fuel in the tank, under the armor, while the English Churchill and Sherman varients had an auxillery fuel trailer.

Thanks Westside & L4, it means a lot! Steal away, filing those brass rods was a PITA, couldn't find any tubes that small in plastic. Definitely happy with the end result though, might need to do some more filing to get some pipes level but you can see where its heading.

My thoughts for the prometheum tanks is mainly to fuel the main weapon(my guess is it might go through a lot) but yeah they could be left off as they're only stuck on with blu-tac right now.

I'm not sure if it's possible to add bits to make the model more church-like, a suitable paint scheme maybe all that is needed. Ideas along these lines very welcome!

The Exorcists are nice. What size tube is that, 3/64"?

You could see if there's a way to add a chapel type thing over the passanger deck in back. I don't have any suggestions on how off the top of my head, but once I get back from lunch I'll think about it some more.

Thanks SG the brass rod is 1/16"(had to check the packet) the central plastic rod is slightly larger, not sure exactly.

Any idea you have will be great!

The Otter has some small (9mm x 25mm) gothic window strips that might work. Just build a roof over them?

Cheers for the ideas SG, if building that thunderhawk taught me anything it is that I should quit while I'm ahead, before I bite off more than I can chew. I think I may just continue with them as they are.

The last of my work in progress pictures, there's not been enough painting going on in this thread fo my liking.

Thought I'd keep the Cathedral's 'excomunicator' fairly simple.

Hope people like it.
