Hi all,

I've recently got my dirty little hands on a few Exodus Wars goodies. Some I have plans to incorporate into my Seeds of War Kraytonians, others into SoW Pax forces, but the majority seemed to just leap into the post without me having specific plans for them!

So, Dont expect either consistency, or regularity on this one, but there should be some fun bits coming this way.

Comments & Critisisms always welcome, but I doubt many will be true display pieces, just a bit of fun, so please dont be offended if I dont correct the things you point out - I'll make not for future reference, but I'm really terribly lazy these days!

First up - "The Dragon"

This dud finally broke the damn that had been holding me back from E/W til now - painted for the February challenge, I thought he looked like an underworld crime boss. Stylish basing to be added later.... honest..

And Second up - The T.S. Tank.
(no prizes for guessing what T.S. stands for... was going to be the Dragon's ride, but TS seemed more appropriate!)

can you tell me how big the tank is in comparison with, say, a Leman Russ or Baneblade?

The hull is 30mm long and 20mm wide, versus an SG Russ hull, which is 25mm long, and 16mm wide (20 with sponsons). The hull is, however 2mm shorter than the Russ's 10mm height.

Many years ago I used to make my own decals to apply to difficult surfaces. Essentialy you use some old fashioned gummed paper, varnish the gum, paint the details and then re-varnish it. Then treat just like a decal; soak off the decal in a dish of warm water and put it where you want (it is usually worth painting the surface with some more light glue to make sure it sticks well).

Does anyone else still do this now?
