I'm wanting to make a stormraven for my blood angels and wondering what size I should make it. I'm thinking of making it so I can hang one of the dreadnoughts off the back, but think that would make it too big. Any thoughts? |

Measure a 40k stormraven, divide the size by 5, and that's how big it should be. :-) |

I guess it also depends on whether you have GW Thunderhawks or Forgeworld models... hopefully the latter if you want to hang a dreadnought off the back. |

Thanks for the comments. I've decided not to hang a dread off the back, and yes, the Thunderhawk bricks are a good size to base it on. I'm currently also trying to do a Thunderhawk transporter that I can use magnets to fit two plastic rhinos under... its massive! Currently 9 cm long so far. |

Thanks for the link. Wish they had something like that for the Thunderhawk Transporter too. |

Today i did hold an assembled and painted Stormraven in my own hands. In real life it looks quite nice. I had to surpress the urge to make swooosh noises... ![]() |

Quick, we need an intervention. GW employees have hypnotised this one! |

The only objections i had with thin the tail and that the wings grow narrow where they are attached to the hull. |
