I have seen the exodus wars drop pods just wondering if anyone seen other drop pod proxies out there. Also looking for something for thunderhawks. If I could find a line that looks good that has a smaller version as well I would use them for my stand in rhinos. The new exodus Khazari Valkyrie Transport might be my rhino stand ins as I love the turbo fan idea |

I think there is/was a Buck Rogers board game that had some cheap gun pod/drop pod pieces that people used, don't know the details though. Alternatively, the current GW style are a simple, repeated shape, so just scratch-build 'em from plasticard:
