Here is the latest creation birthed from the dark chaotic depths of my workshop. Officially I'm calling it an Aggressor Army Heavy Mortar Carriage. Unofficially, it's the Seekermeng variant Doomblaster or Death battery. Check it out: ![]() ![]() ![]() A friend of mine asked me to do this and a cannon version on the same chasis so he could supplement his chaos force without spending alot of money on models he wasn't very fond of in the first place. ? The cannon version will be ready sometime this week. |

Excellent!!! Very nice conversion, and current stats can still be used without a rules rewrite... ? ![]() |

Thanks. I was kind of leery of doing this project. I haven't had a great deal of luck sculpting 6mm vehicles (no greenstuff yet.) ? When I was asked to do it I almost said no. But then I decided to build my masters out of sheet stock instead. It's built out of .02 evergreen. The mortar master was done using a little wood dowel that I turn on my dremel. The only sculpted elements are the skull on the front and the mount for the mortar. My friend doesn't like the look of the GW chaos artillery models. He wanted something that looked like a military vehicle. I had him do a rough drawing of what he wanted and built the model master to the drawing's specifications. |

Hi! The vehicle has a definite "cultist" feel. What you'd expect from a IG artillery piece if it was converted to chaos. Primarch |

That was his idea.?Technicaly he doesn't even call his forces a chaos army.?He calls it his rebel army. It's made up of chaos Space Marines, cultists and "dark" Eldar. There are no daemon or daemons engines in it. He wanted something that would blend in with that mix. This machine fits the bill. I didn't even include a chaos symbol on the masters. I added chaos symbols with strips of sheet stock on my own models. |

That "rebel" concept works. We rarely use Daemons anyway. ![]() |

Hi! Thats a part of the chaos forces I always thought missing, actual rebel cultists forces that don't have that overly mutated look of those into chaos for a long time. Its mainly IG equipment with symbols of chaos embossed. Primarch |

In SM-1, they have Cultists templates (with 6 dets. + ) that can be used with Chaos/Traitor SMs or on their own. I have 12 sets of Cultists (templates)/Cults. And for the most part they use standard IG troops and equipment. Plus I added a few extras - like OGREs! ![]() Cultists would be a great place to put other companies models too. And we have listed many of those in the past... ![]() |

When I was playing chaos I had a fairly large cultist contingent. They are very under-rated in the grand scheme, but can be pretty dangerous if you have to face them en masse. I had them portrayed as a Slaanesh cult. IG troopers in pink and vehicles in pale blue and cream camo pattern. It was very bizzare, but fun! |

SeekerMeng, I really like what you've done! I'm very impressed with the vehicle hull. The front is very detailed and looks great. Your track technique is good, but it's still a little basic (please take my constructive criticism with a grain of salt!). I think that if you add Chimera track pieces, it would look better. I don't care for chaos daemons either although I like rebel armies. I've always used my spare IG for rebels and have yet to paint a dedicated rebel army. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

I'm not real happy with the tracks either. Normally I'd use Evergreen corrugated sheet stock to make them (like the ones I did on my Wet Epic models on the old site). Unfortunately I was out and it's a 40 min to an hour drive, in all directions, from my little corner of no where to get too a hobby store. So instead I used a 2mm strip of .02 sheet stock to do individual tracks. It looks good on the masters but the detail was lost in the castings. I didn't want to take any thing off of other models because I sold about 15 of these and didn't want any issues with anyone. I will probably re-do them if I opt to sell anymore of these minis. The outer sponson cover was left bare. I added all the detail there after casting. |

What's KP? In the Finnish army, it means "Kelpaa Palvelukseen" (fit for duty). Not a diagnosis you'd want to get when visiting the doctors. In the old days it also meant "Keitti?palvelu" (Kitchen duty), but nowadays machines peel all the potatoes. |
