Are there any decent Eldar vehicle proxies out there? I've had a look at several of the producers and found great models for IG, orks, necron squats etc, but I haven't seen anything that says "eldar skimmer" to me. Are there any great minis I've missed? |

Well, you might try looking for spacecraft instead of hover tanks. Some of the ones at the bottom of this page might be to your liking. I only found those from a 1 minute google search. Or, troll ebay for SM/TL era eldar vehicles, they might end up being cheaper. |

Depends on how Eldarish you want them to be. I'm using the Dark Realms Miniatures Andraydans for Infantry and Titans (cross usage as Necrons and Tau). And if I didn't already have buckets of the old school Deathspinner style tanks, I'd have definitely have considered the Andraydan Valkalon. Using rare earth magnets, you'ld be able to configure them to whatever role. The pack comes with an AA style weapon (Firestorm), railgun style weapons (Fire Prism), blaster style weapons (Falcons), and the rocket pods shown (Nightspinner). And vanilla ones for Wave Serpents. The Super Heavies, you should be able to find the old standard ones. The Hubries look like good Jetbike/Shining Spears, and the Pax Arcadian Javelin make for decent Vypers. At least, that's what I use. Morgan Vening |

I didn't realize that came with such an assortment of weapons. The size is pretty comparable? 5 pounds per pair is pretty good; certainly better than the GW prices. |

Awesome tips. Especially nice that the Valkalon comes with all those weapons. |

They're definitely larger, but not so much that it'd stand out, IMO. Here's a pretty crappy picture. ![]() Though it doesn't look it, the backs are lined up. And yeah, given GW are charging 12.5 Sterling for 3, it's definitely priced pretty well. I almost forgot, the Verger for Wraithlords, and the Vorace for WarWalkers. The only thing I really stepped outside DRM for, was GZG Battlesuits for Wraithguard/Crisis Suits. And the vehicles, because I already had buckets of Scorpions, Fireprisms and Nightspinners.
