Deffsta is my Great Gargant currently under construction at The Desk, also known as my work space. 'He' is a MegaGargant downgraded to Great Gargant status, or, as the blurb goes, a Great Gargant being rebuilt from the ruins of a wrecked MegaGargant. You can see a picture of Deffsta (not quite complete, but with all major bits in place) here. He will be the Boss Gargant in my Gargant Big Mob battleforce based on the rumoured Orkimedes Gargant army list which will eventually hopefully appear. My Garg. army will be a Bad Moons affair, but even with this restriction, I can't decide on a colour scheme - especially as he is a rebuild in progress (with bits of scaffolding still in place. So I'm polling for opinions. Hoipefully, I'll not come up with some new idea during the course of polling and start all over again...fingers crossed!
The 'construction' colours incidentally, are shades of red or grey as yet unpainted by the Orks (well, Grots), with some painted areas in Moonz black and yellow.

Da only proper kolor fer da Bad Moonz is yellow wiw black trim. An' don't yoo forget da 'uge banna wiw a snarlin' moon! Den yoo can jus' go an' stomp sum pansies! WAAAAGGHHHH!

Right, whilst the boys in black are putting Colonel Piett away, the poll will be stopped tomorrow at noon, and some time after that I'll present the decision. And twenty montsh from now Deffsta should be ready...

Hi all,
true to my word I'm ending the poll here and declaring the winner: TRADITIONAL BAD MOONZ YELLOW WITH BLACK TRIM
Although the construction colours idea was liked by quite a few people, 7 votes were split between the different options of reds and/or greys.
Anyway - Deffsta will be a yellow Gargant, which is ok by me as I'm in a very yellowy phase, closely following my red phase. Wonder what comes next...
For constructionists (as opposed to the traditionalists): don't worry, one or two very small areas around the Gargant will still be in construction colours.
Now all I've got to do is find a few more small components, mangle some plasticard, prime it, and then lay hands on the pots of yellow.

PS - flash news - I'm building antagonist armies, and preparing some AdMech/IG types as adversaries for the Gargants. The latest recruit has yesterday undergone deconversion (some would say cleansing) from being an unpainted Chaos Warmaster Titan. My Emperor is back - minus AND plus a few bits...
