This is my very first post here at this forum after lurking awhile, both as a guest and as a registered user. And I thought that I'd start with a bang. So I'm starting my very own painting log. I currently have two semi-complete armies, Ultramarines and Eldar. I will start with my Ultramarines but eventually some Eldar and even some Orks might appear in this log as well.

I should warn you though, this log might be very slow moving from time to time as I work on other projects :)

I will colour code my progress (in addition to posting pictures) in the following way.

Not started
Started
Finished

-- Infantry --
1 Tactical detachment
2 Assault detachments
1 Devastator detachment
4 Terminator detachments

5 Rhinos - 60%
3 Dreadnoughts

-- Vehicles --
1 Predator detachment
1 Whirlwind detachment
1 Land Raider detachment
1 Land Speeder detachment

1 Thunderhawk

The tactical detachment is coming along nicely and there should be some pics as soon as I've finished basing the Rhinos.

Hmm, there's way to many forum parts on this board :-\

Perhaps some moderator could be kind enough to move this thread to that forum instead then?

Put the last touches on the tactical detachment (including transports) today.

Yeah, but I had problems with where I should put them. I guess that the side doors would be decent candidates for the chapter symbols?

There are multiple paces. For my Salamanders i had put them on the front, on the side doors, on the side panels at the front and rear, etc.
No two Rhinos look the same :)

well painted, love the markings on the land raiders very crisp, also the vehicle flat bases are nice as they are not in your face and dont distract from the vehicle, wish i had done mine flat, bit late now ::)
