Haha, really?

Did FW hire some hick model designer? That thing looks like it belongs on blocks in someone's front yard!

Or in an Ork army as a Soopa-Scorcha...

+1 Dave

I can't see the Fuel Trailer being safe or working in a battlefield. Maybe they thought this:

IG Tank Commander: Mr. Ork? Excuse me Mr. Ork!
Ork Nob: Umm Yessum ummie?
IG TC: Could you and your mob of green skins just come over here and stand in front of my giant flame tank? See we can't go over that rough terrain to get to you.
Ork Nob: Oh...Ok I guess so Ummie.

*Orks stomp on over in front of Flame Tank*

IG TC: Oh that's just perfect, oh wait. You there scoot over to the right, ah that's better! Ready?
Ork Nob: Uh ya Ummie?
IG TC: Alright Waaaagh away then...(To Tank Crew: Fire Main Gun...)
Ork Nob: Ok....Waaaa..ug oh hott.... burning....ueahdflkm,......
IG TC: Well that was easy. Ok boys lets go find some more Orks to burn! All head at crawling speed!

;D ::) ;)

The first thing I thought of when I saw it was "apparently the diameters of the holes in the heat shield around the nozzle need to scale linearly with the size of the nozzle." Which is, of course, total BS. They could have sold the scale of the gun better if the holes in the heat shield were smaller.

In other news, this model reflects one of my biggest beefs with FW and GW in general, which is that they devote an insane amount of effort into creating redundant units for armies that already have more choices than they really need. I mean, does the IG really need another flame-cannon tank? Isn't the hellhound, or you know, that other hell hound, not enough? But oh, that's right, every single IG flavor needs its own unique tanks with more variants available to them than what is available to entire alien races.

Give us some Exodite dragon knights or some demiurg for Pete's sake!

...so looking at the fuel tank i assume that it will be a one shot weapon?
Hellhound (artemia/graia) size fuel tank for a titan weapon :P

Yuck.

I had high hopes that they were not simply going to cut/paste the Inferno.

I'm guessing you elevate the main weapon by driving up a hill. Good thing those ignition nozzles are so well protected from all the crap you'd run over on a battlefield, not to mention enemy fire. ::)

It's just a GW rip off of the Churchill Crocodile from WW2 :D

Apparently there is no limit to dumb ideas for new models.

The next guard-featuring book is ice-world versus Eldar too and they obviously are so sluggish, slow moving and un-dextrous they’d never be able to get out of the way of the limited arc of fire in time... no, wait… Doubt it’d be much use versus skimmers either.

All that said I actually quite like the look of it myself, though I agree it’s not the most practical.

Giant Flame Tank
on an Ice World

That sounds like amazing fun.

Well it's either an Inferno Gun (the Titan weapon) or a Twin-linked Inferno Cannon (the Hellhound's weapon)

I would hate to see this thing having to back-up.

If you have ever tried to reverse a trailer into somewhere, this model would just make you laugh :D

The weapon itself (on the tank) is very nice however

All disgusting! When will they stop just putting bigger, more unwieldy, increasingly unrealistic looking guns on things in attempt to sell them to power gaming wankers? Answer: never i'd guess...
