Well, I recently got my order of Eldar in. I was quite happy that I saw 4 Deathstalkers, 4 Doomweavers, 2 old Wave Serpents, 6 Falcons, 2 Firestorms, 3 Tempests, and a pile of the old plastic Falcons. Now, I'm still happy, but I also receieved a bag of bits... there was a chassis for what looked to be an SHT, another chassis that looked like a new Falcon but with two little fins coming off the back, and the new Wave Serpent. Now my question is, is there any place I can find instructions on putting these models together? I received with them a Revenenat from E40k, and a whole pile of bits, and I don't know what goes where...

Aiee... now I'm no longer sure, after perusing De'Aynes, whether I've got a Nightwing & Phoenix or Phoenix and Vampire, but I believe it's the latter pair, but that brings on a whole new set of problems...

The old Citadel mini catalogues had assembly instructions for most of the stuff. I'm pretty sure Ive seen those scanned in the web.

The Epicollector website has pics of pretty much all the epic models so I'd guess you could identify the bits by visiting there.

The one that "looks like a new Falcon but with two little fins coming off the back" is the Night Spinner.

I dont have any instructions on putting them together, but my galleries have a large range of epic Eldar models on show & may help in identifying parts.

Thanks, those helped. The shot of the Scorpion at one of the angles also showed me what use some of those bits were. My final question for now, do the Phoneix or Vampire have landing gear? (And it turned out I do have a Phoneix and Vampire.)

No IIRC, none of the Eldar Aircraft do ... none of mine do and are on flight bases.  And I remember the pics in the back of the W/Ds.   No landing gear ...

Oh dear... this means I have number of bits that all look like landing gear that may well be something else.
But at least nothingis falling apart, so I suppose I'll leave it at that.
Thanks all.

Could you take pics of the bits that "look like landing gear"? Maybe some of us could say what they are.

just check that they are not the vertical sections of the tail assemblies.  Apart from that I am not sure what they could be.

Could they be Thunderhawk landing gear ? ?That is the only E40K model that I can think of that had L/gear. ?But I always thought that it could be used for Eldar or Tau models too. ????

The tail fin from the Vampire could look a bit like landing gear i suppose...

Cheers!

There's three parts to the tail assembly, right? Two vertical bars and a crosspiece with the same sort of hex-scale sculpting?

I'll see if I can get pics of the other parts, but it's not too bad, as everything else does fit together and looks about right.

Yes, that sounds like the tail assembly ... it fits into the rear fuselage.

The tail bone's connected to the..... wraithbone. :p

ok, sorry, couldn't resist.
Hergmir, don't try basing your models on my conversions, because I scrambled all the different bits together and added some more, and a few ex-tails are now conning towers; I don't have the Phoenix and co models, or the Avatar knows what I'd have done with things that look like an undercarriage.
