I'm planning to start on some Tyranids painting/conversions (along with the Eldar and Chaos force... I like variety).
Has anyone done any Tyranid Conversions or good painting schemes?
I chose to paint my Eldar red, so probably going to paint my Tyranid horde black with bleached bone, but then the final Chaos horde will be lead by the Black Legion.
Anyone got any good suggestion?

See www.netepic.org go to the EPICentre and then on to the downloads section, there is a painting and modelling section with the Tyranids in.

I have a good size 'Nid Force, but I'm still not sure how I want to paint it ...

Markco's epic page has some nice Tyranids. Im sure he wont mind me posting his link... http://au.geocities.com/markconz/epic.html Ive only ever done one Tryanid coversion, but that was for BFG, it can be seen here... http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/kr00zza
Personly I like simple painting on Tyranids .ie. black basecoat with moody purple highlights. This is a very quick and easy way to paint a big epic army and looks very effective. Personly Im not too keen on the multi-colored Tryanids no matter how well painted they are. Thats why Im particulary impressed by Markco's Tyranids, hes managed to acheve good color without making the models gairish. Something that is rarely seen.

Lextar,
I have a large Nid army and have written a conversion guide elsewhere on this board.

MaksimSmelchak - could you post the link. I can't seem to find it.
Staring at a PC all day does that to you.
