Post subject:  Need Ultramarine Company Banners
Since our school's got a pretty monstrous printer capable of doing some very detailed printouts I figured I'd try to downscale some 40 banners to put on my Epic minis. I plan to scan the images and redraw them in Adobe illustrator or similar Vector graphics program, scale them down and viola! Banners so small they should be almost impossible to read! :p

I am working on Ghazghkulls banners right now and wanted to do something similar for my Ultramarines. More specifically I want to do the Company banners to place with my company command groups. Does anybody have some pics/scans of the full set of Ultramarine Chapter and Company banners?

I currently have the 3rd and 5th company banners from an old WD article (the one with the entire Ultramarines Chapter painted up) + one for a Terminator chaplain and Marenus Calgar as scans if you want them.

IIRC the book "Insignium Astartes" has the banners for all of the Ultramarine companies. Don't clap your little hairy hands yet as I am not _completely_ sure about this (the memory enhancements my tech priest gave me are faulty), but I'll check when I get home and get back to you tomorrow.

I'd be interested too- especially the IA ones I havent seen.

Just checked my stash of files, I have scans of the At banners with BAngles, DAngels, SWolves, TSons, SonsHorus, EmpKids, Night Lords...

but no Ultras- sorry! :{

Primarch: I'll send you the banners ASAP. I jjust need to slightly downsize them in order to send them from my hotmailaccount.

I just did a test print at school today. The result -with an epic Marine medic for scale comparison can be seen here -the pic came out rather dark so i had to lighten it up a bit but you get the general idea. I didn't do all the vector graphic stuff I was talking about an also used normal xerox paper for the print. I think even better quality is achievable if a higher resolution is used in photoshop (currently "only" 300 dpi -the printer will do 600) and and I use photo paper.
I''m still very satisfied with the current result!

Looks like it's your lucky day, warmaster. The IA indeed had all the Ultramarines company banners, save that of the 10th company. Maybe a novice company doesn't merit a banner.  ???
