As a follow-up from the "My Chapter" thread I've finally had the time to take a few pics of a model which caused a lot of quistions.
Ladies (well probably not) and gentlemen. I present to you "the mysterious black blob": The Warp Palace of Tzeentch.
Warp Palace
The idea was to create something which shape-wise slightly resembled the old Silver Towers of Tzeench only much bigger. Sort of a mad twisted floating palace with towers like claws reaching for the skies (exit prosaic mode :p ). However I decided that i didn't want to spend a lot of money on a bitz-order so stuff i allready had in my bits box would have to suffice.

The base is a regular 40mm round slottabase. This has the advantaage of the holes at the bottom which is really easy to add a flying stand to.
At the centre I added a 1.5 cm. round piece of plastic and on each side one half of an old drop tank from a 1:72 aircraft kit.
On the centrepiece i then added the cross section which held the wall sections together in the old Space Crusade game. Extending out to each end is an arm extention from the old Beetleback warlord.
On top of this I added the tip from a Plasma Annihilator from the Imperator titan and on top of that -to form sort of a tower roof- 3 pylons (isn't that whet the rocket mounts for an aircraft is called?) from a 1:72 aircraft kit.
At the base I then added 8 turrets from the old plastic "skull" battlewagon. The front "facade" of the tower was based on some bit of a toy with a bit from the Liche King's Chariot. At the top a turret from an Imperator.
The backside is the engine from a 1:35 scale F-16 fighter with a scythe from a Cauldron of Blood.
The two side towers then had some FightaBommer Bommz added + some green stuff-chaos-looking-stuff.

I am considering adding a bit more detail like tzeentch symbols in green stuff but that will have to wait for some day when I find the time.

Cheers!

Thanks for the pics and description.  It is much appreciated.

If you want to add a Tzeentch icon, the staff headpiece from the 40K LoC model might work well.  It's fairly sizable and not very expensive as a bit.

Awesome conversion, as always.  :O  And I see you took up my little name suggestion for the chaos titan.
