Wanting more?
Fittingly, this EC blog satisfies your need for instant gratification.
Raubtiers, sans flock: I love these guys. Kudos to O-man.

Finished land raiders, with flock, but still needed a bit of dark grey trim on the bases:

And the decimators:

Looking at the pics, the metal on the barrels is a bit muted. I'm not sure if I should go back and make the metal a bit clearer somehow.
Apoc: yeah, the washes are GW.

Apoc, stop it now, I... I am Athmos now !

muhahaha !

No need to apologise, Captpiet, I quite enjoyed the occasion of writing stupid personality split post :)

When I'm Athmospheric, at least.

Are the bellies of your fighters gray?

Re: the Apoc stuff, despite all of Matt's bitching about putting it together they're coming along nicely as of last night.

And finally (for today):
I'm no fluff expert, but my impression is that there's few things better for slaanesh types than giving those Khorne maniacs the finger (the two fingers, the tentacle, etc.). What better way to do that than take a khornate war engine and subverting it to their own ends? This just translates here to giving the said WE a pinkish paintjob.
(thanks for stealing my thunder Dave, really)
For this purpose, I built two feral proxies. These are WIP. I mixed up some Vallejo pinks to get a sort of pepto-bismol color, then applied two coats of baal red wash. I'm aiming for FW's glossy red finish, but in pink tones rather than reds. The models themselves take a lot of planning to build (one is bit low and scratching its nose/cannon because I built it on the fly), but they are completely and totally awesome.
[censored]
They will get steel and gold on the metal bits, some lighter pink blotches, and a few clear coats to get the glossy look I'm after. I really want to do the model justice, even if I'm messing with the allegiance.
The one picking its nose is named "Charlotte" (IRT the "Charlotte's Web" children's story). I'm currently looking for another innocent-sounding spider name for the other one.

1) You bet your ass, they're f-ing gray!! ;D
2) As in all things, wargaming especially, I was completely and utterly serene while building said models. I don't know what you're talking about.

Stealing your thunder would have involved me posting pictures of your models in your thread before you did. I'll bring my camera to painting night next week so I can do that.

You could name the other one Itsy Bitsy. :P

Wow Great army. I really like the Decimators :)

But any Khorne follower will skin you alive if they see your Feral proxies :D

Wow, I hope nobody PM's me the username of the person who makes those Feral proxies. That would be horrific.

Unfortunately, this tragedy could not be averted. I even saw it coming, and did nothing ;D

Thanks!

And I haven't even built my defiler proxies. Those will be more blatant in their defiling of Khorne, appropriately.

A darned shame - my regrets are bottomless.
