If someone were to make 6mm sci-fi civilians what would you want them to be like?

I would be keen to see colonist types, the hard working sort that are covered in work gear, like miners and so on.
Kind of like post apoc style, lots of layers and padding and stuff.
None of this Star Trek lycra suits.

Then some normal office types, civvies in their day to day work wear, suits and skirts and so on.
Not sure on the style, but am thinking again not skin tight as I suspect the future is not fat free.

Police may be nice but not essential.

What would you like to see?

Everything from city dwelling lazy punks to drunks to office yuppies and farnboys with cows and pigs and horsies. Sitting on benches, reading newspapers while covertly checking out the females and / or targets, running screaming from tanks, marching for or against war, bleding out in the corners, and petting their dogs ..

And all races, eldar, squats, ratlings; hell, the odd mutant too ..

What? That's not demanding too much, is it? =P

.. I think most of the Epic community would like something that fits a little with the terrain we have. Taking what ppl got from the epic boxed sets, city dwellers of some kind would be very nice.

Robed and suited as below would be my choice :)

With the added awesome of miners/labour force that follow this sort of aesthetic; minus the weaponry.

I remember those piccies.

Would you class armed military vehicle crew as civilians though?

Those that could be used to work on machinery, mining or building outposts would have numerous uses.

Nope, but...

would seem to fit the bill. ;)
They'd need adaptation, but those sketches are cool-looking, practical and distinctive sets of clothing that don't fall into the sci-fi trope of super skintight clothing of the future.

Features like the diving bell style helmets; the shoulder/neck brace and the nehru-collared longcoats would fit in a variety of settings, from steampunk to Gothic to post-apoc; and from a practical point of view, having longer coats or bulky oversuits will make the models more sturdy around the legs, which'll lead to fewer breakages.

Basically, I don't like the idea of sci-fi civilians wearing modern-day dress, and would have no interest in them at 6mm.
