i'm putting togeather a renegade space marine chapter. i don't want any "goofy" vehicles. i guess i should just use standard marine stuff. but if anyone has any suggestions, i'd like that. thanks!

What do you mean by 'goofy stuff'?

by "goofy" i mean the chaos vehicles. weird looking, imo. skulls and towers

so you want standard amrine chapter issue vechiles etc but with a evil nasty theme ?

i guess thats what i'll do...sorry for the wasted topic. i'm just getting back in the game after a very long time.

But dont forget to use a suitably renagade looking paint scheme so we know that they are not standard issue.

You could also browse through the forum. There are some really great "ideas" floating around. Check out just about anything from Otterman.

Regarding making them more evil, what about scattering dead painted loyalists on your bases? Suitably nasty banners, making sure that you use some nice 'evil guardsmen' as cultists.

If you can use older vehicles, MKI marine land raiders are still 2 a penny on eBay, the old Rhino's as well are nice and cheap. Show that your chapter is old school (unless it is chapter which has recently turned?)

You could use any one of the Chaos Lists to base the Chapter from . Just use standard Marine troops and vehicles without including any of the "goofy "stuff you don't like.

Depents if you want Renegade Chapter Space Marines or Renegade Chapter Chaos Space Marines. By your descriptions it is the former?

The Red Corsairs Chaos Space Marines army list would be good to use. They're meant to be recently-turned traitors, so still have most of their imperial-issue gear.
