So i was wanting to make Exterminator's for my Minervans and other such tank armies and finally had an idea. I got some older mk2 russes (the second edition one's that almost look like the current model), and found a good supply of german 15mm pak 37mm guns in my bits box from playing flames of war. So the end result was what i have pictured here.

i found the best way of doing this is leaving some of the barrel casing on to promote a solid oval surface to glue on the mantlet of the turret housing.
These took me about 10 minutes a piece to make only because i have large fingers and getting the guns just right is a fiddly thing to do, but the outcome is worth it.. balanced and looking just right. wish i had some of the newer tanks to do this with but they are painted and spoken for already in my armies. We can just call this the Forge world Dughanis pattern...lol
I wonder if anybody has ever used other 15mm barrels on their tanks before for 6mm.. i can't wait to find two more forge world leman russ bodies without the heavy bolters.. i need to make some Destroyers out of spare sherman or panzer 3 barrels.
