I'm doing a Fabius Bile conversion. Anyone got any ideas for his mutated, nasty, enhanced marine entourage? |

Hi! How about using chaos androids as skeletons and them painting them with rotten color or maybe even doing worms on them? The beast of nurgle tongue on the epic figures would make interesting "worms" slithering on the base. Primarch |

Out of curiousity: What are you bassing your Fabius Bile on? I'd imagine that the Tech-Marine would make a good start but please post photos ASAP! I'm gettting very curious here!  As for retinue: How about throwing in a few of the old Nurgle CSMs from the old spure? (the one with the cow horns) Cheers! |

right now I'm planning to base him on a scout. scouts have thin bodies and an open stance. Those are good traits if you are going to be addin things to a model. I'll post as I roll along. |

Sounds great! How about sticking one of the small plastic Plaguebearers on his sprue to show the favour in which he is held by 'ol "papa nurge"? Other ideas for plague zombie types- a Codex grey Guardsmen missing an arm...figues with bullet holes in them etc...hard to do in epic and be visible from more than 15cm though... I too look forward to pics

What about using a Valhallan CO as a base, since Fabius wears a skin greatcoat? You could use the techmarine bits for his contraption and change out the head. That's just 3, possibly 4 cuts. I am woefully behind on the background. Didn't Fabius start out as an Emperor's Children commander or apothecary? I remember thinking that he was much more Nurgle-like when I first saw a description and that making him EC didn't fit. |

Well... he is something of an unusual character- he doesn't actually actively support any of the Powers... he was an EC, but hasn't become super-depraved like them- he manufactures and modifys new marines for all the Legions from his Crone World in the EoT, and is attempting to create a new species of "ultimate man" or something along those lines... |

Bile has long been one of my favorite characters. I've had him on the board for a conversion for a long time. I'm still trying to pin down exactly how I'm gonna do him and a small detachment. |
