Hey:
Just soliciting ideas for eldar titan conversions.
I was looking over the titan upgrades for the experience point system and noticed the mandi-blaster upgrade. It occurred to me that you could do aspect-themed conversions. I came up with these:
Scorpion themed - add mandiblasters. Convert Power fist to chainfist (probably starting with a reaver fist would be easiest).
Banshee - Replace faceplate on head with a 40K scale banshee mask. Make a glaive to hold in the power fist (like a 40K scale Executioner).
Hawk - Fold holofield wings outward. Add feathers to the back of the head (like the Hawk exarch). Mount grenade packs on the outside of the thighs.
Spider - I don't know about this one. I think you could replace a weapon with a 40K spinner, possibly mounting a pair like the Nightspinners. You could also replace the wings with a WS carapace, but I think it would work best if it was extended somewhat away from the body.
DA, Dragon and Reapers work about the same, imho. Obviously, mounting a heat lance or 40K scale reaper launcher or shuriken cannon would be appropriate. You could modify the heads. The head with the large wing could easily be painted like a Dragon helmet and the smaller head could have a DA plume added to it. The faceplate could be replaced with the faceplate of a 40K DR.
Shining spear - Titans won't work, but I could dig a Scorpion done up like one. I'm just uncertain how well it would work.
So, any other ideas from the peanut gallery?

So, no one on this board has thought of any Eldar titan conversions (outside of Signius' wing/arm transplant)?
I find that stunning and unbelievable.

I find that stunning and unbelievable. | I've never really been a big fan of the Eldar. THe only Titan conversion I've ever done with thier models hardly counts as a conversion at all. I called it the ranger class Scout titan, and was made by simply missing out parts on a Revenant:
A (pretty poor - I made it 3 years ago!) article on them with details of the parts used can be found on Epic40K.com under the New units section.

I must say that I haven't really considered it. Do the 40K parts fit straight on? If so, I may have a look at something. I have loads of 40K eldar stuff lying around.

Hi!
Nice paint job on the revenant Tuff!
I'm not a big fan of the Eldar, but Neals ideas on doing "aspect" motiff sounds like the way to go.
How about converting one to like a howling banshee and give a HUGE sword?
