Unfortunately I missed the opportunity to get the game as I wasn't aware that it was a special edition. Really regret this, but at least I finally have something in epic scale. One of my quicker projects that didn't take me years... well its almost a year.

As seen previously in another thread I started about the size of my weapon :)

Also based on the classic diorama (WD357 pg22), a place to show the squad off. This will also probably be used for my HQ (yet another project).

And with a squad in it without the genestealers. Possibly a future task although trying to remodel the current genestealers is probably a much harder task.

There are people considering making stealers from scratch as it were. Hell if you can work out how to fabricate the sections in 6mm I would impress on people in London to sort out a space hulk set from the loverly terminators and whatnot that have been scratchbuilt :)

If you use the bigger squared tiling you could have each square be a movement square. You could drill holes and have the minis sit in pegs and convert it to "Travel Space Hulk" :D

They sell rare earth magnets that are about the same size as an epic base. You could use a bunch of those and use sheet metal for the floor sections.

Well, epic Space Hulk is definitely an idea that sprang to the mind of many many people, apparently independently.

I remember thinking about it the first time I saw an epic terminator. It the time, I didn't think we'd ever see 6mm genestealer though...
I've had various projects about it since then, globally becoming more and more ambitious as I got to saw what others did with the same idea. About 20 years later, still haven't done anything... What a shame.

This display set is really great however, and a very nice homage to the Classic Space Hulk diorama (was it used as an illustration on the original box side ? I'm not quite sure). I would suggest cabling as additional details that would be somewhat easy to add and look good.

Can't wait to see it painted. Your terminators are very impressive too, probably among the very best 6mm terminator conversions I've seen. I've never quite managed a 4-claws lightening claw.

I hate some of you 6mm people. I am justing trying to get my head around on how to paint eldar 6mm guardians somewhat decently.
