Are you sure the one on the left is a GW mini? It's about the size of one of the old lead Robots, but I don't recognize it.

It is a very early SM Dreadnought as far as I can tell -Contemptor Class I'd say.

The one on the left looks like a Bootleg ... ??? Here's the other Dreads from SM1 era ... I have all of them too ... It's not an SM1 era Robot, plastic or metal version, either ... I have them too ...

I'm not. I think I've been had, personally.

That seems odd though, i mean the style looks very GW (or GW for that era) but it is the wrong size. The quality of the sculpt does not look any worse than GW either (neither being great) seems a strange thing to make as a deliberate 'fake'. If you were doing it on the sly, why make that (eg clearly wrong size) rather than just recasting GW stuff.

I can't tell properly from the pic, but it does look as if the base has been clipped off a tag or sprue... Could this be a rare model that came like the very old metal Marines/Eldar/Orks? They often had different proportions and were much smaller compared to the stuff that came later.

Otherwise, I agree with Apocolocyntosis; it is very odd for someone to waste their time faking something if it doesn't match the official models closely!

I've never heard or seen such a model ... but it is possible ...

It's probably just not a GW model.

It really looks like a contemptor dreadnought though.... very strange. Maybe an old battletech thingy or something like that.

I have all of them, too. That's why I'm having a hard time identifying it. It looks like it could be a GW mini, but not one I'm familiar with.

It is a dead ringer for the normal sized robots isin't it. I reckon it is a prototype that was cast up for the Adeptus Titanicus rule book photos like the metal Mk1 Falcons and metal Mk1 Ork Battlewagons.
