I rebased the IG army for a Epic Apocalypse battle in Copenhagen. We had 30.000 points on the table, (half of it painted). ;)

I used Thorbjørns Blastmarker idea and made me a Stormboyz stand. Mostly so I could get on the scoreboard in the new Powerfist.dk Epic Painting Marathon:

My Danish is non-existent, but I'm guessing "Spartelmassen" is applying filler with a spatula? So I therefore assume you use ordinary pre-mixed plaster filler? Looks very good, either way! :)

Spartel = spatula
masse = putty

So "Spartelmasse" is modelling putty :)

It helps that Danish is a germanic language so it shares some similarities with German :)

Yes, it's called Carpentry Plaster and has fine grain and a good binding grip.
