Hey there yous guys. I wanted to give you an update of my resin epic base project. Here are some pics of a few. I have made a hundred or so different types. Some good, some not. I have thrown some troops on a few to give you an idea of how they will work. I also did a quick and dirty job of painting them. This will allow you to see more detail. I didn't want to get too elaborate with the painting because I still have to make the molds for some of them. ![]() ![]() |

Very, very, Nice. G/W should come up with something like that. But I am intrigued about the Vacuform terrain that is supposed to be released for E-A ? ![]() |

So am I. That is a real trip because I have been researching vac-forming for the last couple of weeks. It was something I had wanted to get into. If they are going to start vac-forming stuff, then they can produce some excellent peices for relativley cheap. Although, I doubt we will see any of the value of the process. But, they should be able to come out with alot of peices in a relativly short time. |

Yes, I have a lot of their old Vacuform craters, not bad pieces. Hopefully they will do some exotic stuff like Eldar, Tau, 'Nid etc. and not just hills, ridges, etc. And Vacuformed pieces can be "bit'ed out" and more detail added too. I look forward to the models and now, the terrain, more than the E-A rules !!! ![]() |

I agree. Those peices are easy to modfy. They will lack the detail of the resin peices but, should sell for alot cheaper. I think they will make some cheap buildings and things. They may even sell them in themed packages to dig deeper into our pockets. We'll see. |

"Should" being the operative word. We all know and loathe the GW pricing schemes ![]() |

I like them Signius, that sandbagged position is great, yeah, and I love the tank tracks idea you have used on some of them... |

I like 'em, but am I the only one who thinks some of them look like, erm, poo. Some of them look like dog turds. Maybe it's because they are not painted? Maybe that the troops are not in a line may cause problems. Why don't you try a scenic one with all the troops in a line? Like the Epic 40K style bases. Cheers Chris |
