I've been brainstorming a bit on a terrain project. Anyone got the measurements for the Forge World Aeronautica Imperialis Imperial Airield pieces. More specifically the landing pads and the control tower? |

Hi! I've got the control tower and the small landing pad. I can take you some pictures and measurements. Might take an hour or two, though. cheers, |

I'm not at work at the mo and not on the forum much these days (20,000 words of dissertation to write in a month, eek) but I have all the different pieces and could measure up the big landing pad (or all of them) for you. I've emailed myself so I hopefully won't forget but feel free to prod me if I do. They are all excellent models. |

No pictures sorry but the dimensions of the big landing pad are 15.3cm long, 11.3cm wide, 1.5cm high. All the best with the project! |

Thanks guys. ![]() Well I'm not enturely sure if I'm going to proceed with it, but seeing some of the other fortresses people have been building recently, I really felt inspired to do something along those lines. I've also be meaning to build an airfield for quite some time, so I thought what the heck: Let's try and combine them. I found this at the local store: http://www.ziterdes.de/ziterdes/en/prod ... ubcatID=68 Which I figured might make a pretty decent (if not entirely cheap) starting point. The detail is a bit crude, but it doesn't have a while lot of scale giveaways so it should be fairly easy to build upon and gubbinize. |
