War Without End is a 13 week campaign that we are running here in Perth, Western Australia.

Well the first day has come and gone. 5 battles on 3 different boards. There were surprises (how many Titan Killing attacks does that Reaver have :o , failures (Terminators teleporting in and then failing their activation roll, 2 turns in a row and even using the Supreme Commander re-roll ::) ) and mistakes (who doesn't bring any AA to an Epic game :-[ ).
So far there have been 2 wins to titan armies, 2 wins to the Eldar and 1 win to the Imperial Guard.
All in all a great day!

Now onto the photos.

Stunning terrain and armies, what are those large, flat circular thingys?

Nice to see the purulent hover scouts out and about as well ;)

Cheers fellas.

Yup, the circular thingies are from the original series Cylon base stars. I just added a few leftovers from my industrial kits to jazz them up a bit (might add some more pipes etc later).

The purulent hover scouts were proxies for Sentinels. Olly has outdone himself again with his Chaos Titan legion. He also just picked up an Imperator titan today that will be themed with the rest of his army... OUTSTANDING stuff!

More photos next week.

Super cool, x2.

What's the blurry thing going over the bridge?

Looks like a Gorgon, possibly a Mk III.

Awesome terrain. 8)

Yup, it's an unpainted Gorgon that was being used as an objective marker.

Well I would agree with that (seeing as I've used a few myself). Olly will have another Warjack or 2 soon (so he doesn't have to borrow any of my stuff) as he wants to try a 3 Reaver titan army (we're still playing at 2000pts for another 3 weeks then we move up to 2500pts and eventually 3000pts as we get ready for a 1 day tourney in October.

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm just happy to have seen 5 games of Epic being played and to know that there will be a lot more as the weeks go by. Another player turned up yesterday with a GW case full of painted Marines. He's a player from way back who is really keen to try out Epic Armageddon (wants a trial game or 2 before possibly joining the campaign).

Cheers.

They were from a company called IDA 3D (in Vietnam). I don't believe they are trading anymore. I managed to get over 20 buildings from a local wholesale importer for less than $5AUS each. They are made from wooden blocks and held together with magnets (although I glued mine together).

LOL, yeah... well... Whilst the Tau army list may well be a balanced, playable list, I don't believe it is truly representative of how the Tau should work. We'll leave it there and I don't really see any need to take it further in this thread ;) .

Cheers.
