I've painted some more infantry for my squat army as I'm participating in a tournament here i Copenhagen in 3 weeks time. Need to finish 3000 points WIP includes 10 bikes, 10 trikes, 6 exo armour bikes, 4 gyrocopters, 2 goliaths, 1 Colossus and 10 iron breakers, all based and undercoated, most of them base coated just needing details and highlights. Follow my TOEG thread here: viewtopic.php?f=119&t=18831 |

Yeah it annoys me the pictures are coming out so dark, but when it gets cloudy here my apartment gets very little light. I live in the city, ground level in a narrow street |

Very nice models, but regarding taking pictures, I think this will help: Make a cheap lightbox. I think I need to make one too, as I have similar circumstances to yourself and often have the same photography issues... |

That might be the way to go - perhaps just a smaller box Anyway work prevents me from painting at moment. Working from home at your painting table can be inspiring but also seriously demanding. Have to resist picking up a brush aaaarghhh |

Having spent my weekend at the annual Giant Fanatic Tournament I can sadly say I lost all my games at my first ever tournament I still don't know what to make of this tournament business but it was nice meeting my fellow EA-gamers from the Danish Powerfist forum. One of my opponents and fellow old schooler, Stephan, took these pics of his games: http://sdahl.net/~sdahl/whepic/gf13/index.html I struggled the night before to complete my 3000 points to an acceptable standard and putt my brush down at 7.49 AM Saturday morning to meet up at the venue for the first game at 9.00 AM. I'll take some pics in a day or two, although some of the models are without highlights and details (yet) |
