So...my love/hate relationship with the various Epic Leman Russ variants has ended in hatred. RagnaRusses filled the void for a little while, but I just needed something that was not quite so big for an MBT. I know that the 1/285 tends to be a little small, next to an 8mm Epic model, but these experiments have turned out rather well. I'll be retaining my Thunderers and Destroyers as "Heavy" tanks, the "Centurion-Russ" will be my new MBT, and Chimeras and their variants will sort themselves out. Superheavies and Malcadors will be also be included. Enter my vast collection of Arab-Israeli Wars microarmor... I started playing around with a few of my spare turrets and a couple Centurion chassis' and came up with this; ![]() Quickly painted to prevent flash-washout ![]() ![]() And here's one with a standard Israeli Upgraded-Centurion, as well as the Thunderer They don't look half-bad on an M60/M48 chassis either! I've got a ton of GHQ and CinC Cents, so we'll see where this goes. |

Does not look bad ... generally, I find GHQ a bit small ... save for the E-100, Maus, Tortoise ... big stuff like that. They'd make good Epic MBTs or Lt AFVs ... But as always do what works for you ... ![]() |
