Hoping for a more forgiving RL next year so that I may envy your mini extravaganza progress

Well, I have ~9 weeks before all hell breaks loose and an elsmore Jr. arrives... Which I guess is as far from a productive hobby situation as one can get!

You'd be surprised.... when my daughter was born in January I found myself sitting around for hours at a time while my wife was putting her to bed (and it's not a sexist lazy man thing, I just don't produce as much milk as the missus ;) ) so I was pretty productive with the painting for a good few weeks, maybe you'll be similarly fortunate? ;)

Also congrats, it's a life-changer!

Yep. The initial months are probably your window of opportunity here. When they get mobile, that's when the real fun begins...

Congratulations on the imminent arrival !

I was going to say much the same about two friends who were recently made dads - in the first 6 months while the little ones stay where they're put and need little but inputs and cleanup between sleeps it seems you get plenty of hobby time while "baby sitting". One managed painting a couple of infinity factions, the other watched pretty much everything on Netflix! :-)

Good luck!

Beautiful work! Are those the Eloi guardian figures?

In fairness, (if I'm not mistaken) you managed to prep both your sisters and blood angels this year too. Which considering the works of art they are turning out to be is a hell of a lot more than I have managed ! :-)

The big dino is also magnificent.

Neither the scratch builds nor the paint quality is at a level I want to be aiming for so many years after I started the project, and I don't want inconsistency within the army. It has been loads of fun, though.

Well, I don't know if it'll help to know this or not, but your Exodites and Harlequins played a major role in my having convinced hubby to try and paint (and play!) some E:A stuff over this past weekend. Even if you think you've not accomplished all that much, you have my thanks in the most heartfelt and grateful way for helping me to find a path to sharing a hobby I love with the husband I love.

I think I owe you cake.
