6mm Dropship - Off to the printers in the next week or so.

This is an assault dropship... flies in, drops a pod of infantry and Foxtrot-Oscars (as per FWC use).

Relatively low on detail as its 6mm/ 1/285th scale... actual length is just shy of 3 inches long, max width around 1 inch.

Will come with the drop-pod.

Hull and Pod to be resin-cast, engines and missile pod will be white metal.

At first glance looks vaguely STC-ish. Vaguely. Pretty nice IMO.

It's good to see more 6mm stuff coming out.
Most things that Jed does are top quality (I've bought terrain bits from him before).

Looking forward to seeing more of this.

I like the overall shape and the concept is cool (remnds me a bit of an Eagle from Space 1999) but I'm not real keen on the look or placement of the engines.

It's a good design. As another commenter pointed out, the engines could be a bit bigger.

Vertical lift is going to be an issue as well - Love the chassis though!

Very reminiscent of a Mechwarrior design with that swivelling engine placement. Looks neat.
