They're not too far off, I'd use the cover of Black Library's Fulgrim(Link) as inspiration. You did make an excellent pre-Heresy Fullgrim model though!

I thought EC were purple not pink at the time of the great crusade/horus heresy period, at least they are in the heresy books i have.

So the colour scheme seems fine to me, or am i missing something.

They are purple, but a bright purple close to pink.

Hi Guys,

Managed to slowly balance out the good and evil legions ;) Have sculpted another leader
i was considering NL or IW finally went with the NL after seeing a decent picture on the web
to make this little fellow resemble, cloak, claws and bat shouler thingy where made from
thin plasti card when superglue is added it goes very hard but not brittle ;)

picked out the main feature points and the little fellow came together pretty well,
just need to practice the lightning paintwork for his troops.

CS I remember you painting some flying fellows and the lightning looked very good any pointers ::)

Im tempted to remove them all from the stands and base the leaders on 5 pence coins
what do you guys think

Regards epic

Anyway here are some pics of the finished fellow dorn is next on the cards CS ;D

Cool news indeed!

I think basing them on a different base would make them stand out more, a 1p would probably be better though, maybe make it more of a scenic base.

As for the lightning on my Night lords, I think it works best on very dark blue armour (mine is regal blue with 2 washes of badab black) for the lighning itself take a detail brush and do a stripe of a very bright blue(ice/lightning) anywhere on the model, flow over the various parts of armour but don't get carried away, maybe do a fork if there's room; then higlight the stripe with white and you're done. Be sure to do it last so you don't dull it down with any washes.
I tried to do some across different armour plates as I remember reading somewhere that described it as otherworldly lightning that moved over the armour. I also only did 1 maybe 2 bits per model to keep them looking dark.

Hi Folks,

After having now done a few large fellows, and based them on troop stands, i have decided
to put them on there own bases,

One of the forum members suggested trying one penny coins, cheers CS ;)

I have reworked some of the conversions like the size, replaced some bits i was not happy with
etc , hence the EC leader is missing as he is getting reworked as i was not happy with scale
and some of his features

Regards epic

Hi Guys,

Cheers for the comments, well managed to get the EC leader re worked it was a scale issue
as he looked kind of smaller than the rest, So made him a bit larger and moved his sword
