Hi, sorry for the way I'm popping in and out on your forum. I work on many different project, and sometimes Epic ends in a little box on a dusty shelve. ![]() The last month though, I have been revampening my visual style for Epic. Mostly been changing to round bases. I have finished an army of Space Marines, a friend off mine is going to borrow. Not all the army is shown here. These were used for a small test game. ![]() In the same space of time, I have tried to finish som Eldar for the test game. I didn't get all painted, but close enough for some fun. ![]() ![]() Among the new paintjobs are some Hunters and Attack Bikes. We did a little writeup of the battle with pictures. Sorry, it's in danish and will probably not be rewritten in English. We didn't have any true backgroundstory besides testing the forces. Links to the danish version: Setting the table Troop Deployment Round 1 - Ding! Round 2 or 3ish something - Ding! |

Very nice work. The highlighting is wonderful and really makes the minis shine ![]() Like the use of round bases too. I'm thinking of switching over so it's great to see some good examples like these. |

Txh, the round bases seems to be more pleasing to my eye when playing. I have used 30mm washers for the infantry and 35mm for the bikes/cavalry. A little bigger than I have seen others use but it has a nice feeling to a combat squad in skirmish. Never been all to happy about the Napoleon War feeling the old bases had - to neat. And now on to the revampening of my Imperial Guard and Ork armies. ![]() |

@Erik M: Who knows, I'm not that big in attending arrangements but if you can garantee some "gentleman"-playing in a friendly atmosphere I might look into it. ![]() I will be playing more regularly with the new EA-group of Emperors Pride in Copenhagen. At present, a friend of mine is playing with the Space Marines there. They seem to be pretty solid now, so you might be able to create some EA Øresund with your group in Gothenburg. ![]() You can find some better closeups here, (including the flyers we didn't use, because one of us was an inexperienced player, though we kept the original AA-units should you wonder about the Firestorms.): Biel Tan - Revamp Space Marines - Revamp Also includes some WIP pictures. |

![]() The time of revampening has now come to the Orkz. The core of my new army, in which I plan to have loadz of gunwagonz. ![]() The first five gunwagonz. Along the way, the old miniatures will be updated, but for now it's all about painting more vehicles... ![]() My reinforced SM-army stationed in sector Dania subsector Hafnia. ![]() Among the reinforcements four Landraiders, ![]() Terminators, ![]() Jump Marines with choice between Captain and Chaplain character. Planning in the danish community for a massive epic battle in Copenhagen coming march has started, but more about that later. For now, I'm all about having some new orkz ready. ![]() |

Very nice and clean pictures. How did you do the jump pack on those Space Marines? Can we have a picture from the rear? |
