Overview

I was loaded with work so I could not really invest any time to scratching. I managed to slice my finger pretty hard while scratchin so I am nowhere as fast as I wanted (I wanted at least the 4 Kopterz to be done). Anyway, C&C needed! Shall I expend the size of the plattform of the trukk?

Everything here is awesome, the Leviathan and Deffcoptas conversions especially!

Thanks! I managed to scratch more stuff, some ideas shamelessly stolen from Mekboy Andy (very inspirational thread! Check it out!)
The pictures are subpar, the light is bad at night. I will try to make better photos at the weekend (read: when I am at home while the sun is shining)
I resized the trukk

WIP, I am unsure if I leave the shifted turret or not..

The chainblades are Stompa-blades.

I finished two of my Gunwaggonz, but I will use thicker strip styrene (spelled correctly?) on further waggonz. I want them bulkier.

Love the Flakkwagon!

WHat thickness styrene are you using? .010"/.25mm?

I have no idea. It's a big pile of bits and various thicknesses ranging from paperthin to 5mm. I just scavenge through the pile until I find something that pleases me :D I will try and look for the wrapping, some of it is still inside, but I will do that tomorrow (half past midnight local time ;) )

I tend to use 1mm/.040" for structural work, and .5mm/.020" or .25mm/.010" for detailing.

Thanks :)

I am using 0.156, 0.5, 0.75, 0.8, 1.0, 3.2 and 5.0 (not really, but I have one sheet :D) thickness in various sheets, stripes and forms (including |_| ). I also use rods, I have bought the assorted rods pack from PlastStruct, there are several diameters included.

Fantastic! Just fantastic. Very efficient conversionwork on the stompas. I think the Truck is just about the right size. I will perhaps nick the boarboy idea...

Most of My orders (ebay UK, TacCom USA, Warbases.co.uk) habe arrived and I have been very productive. Next up are two more Deathkoptaz and the fiddeling fun of greenstuffing gaps. I will glue the infantry on the bases when they are painted, otherwise it wont work. This way I can still play them now. Perhaps I will glue some scenery or additional Orks on the bases now...
