As with most blues, pictures aren't very informative.

Apparently there weren't any monkey-style sponsons when I did the first prototype print.

Your twin-barrels look so much larger than mine... I think I have barrel envy :-[ That being said though, I still like the chunkier turret for non-ordered applications.

They look ace, though I'm a bit worried about the thickness of those autocannon barrels (looks at EW IFV turret prototype and shudders)

The issue was a weird metallurgical quirk where a long, slender barrel would crack due to the cooling differential between the barrel and the turret. It only seems to have shown up for things exactly this size, about 1mm diameter. Other size barrels (either thicker or shorter) don't seem to be affected.
