Hi all. I thought I would post a plog on here for my epic stuff. I have a long running project log on a few other sites where I post everything I am working on but I like to have somewhere to get in to details on specifics and lets be honest there is nowhere better than Tac Com for epic stuff. I will be working on my Marine/Dark Angels army, my Titan Legion and so Ork stuff I have around the place for them to face off against. Don't worry if it goes quiet for a bit as I will be working on one of the many other projects I have on the go and am going to try to keep this log just for epic updates. I am a big fan of audience participation so if you have and comments, criticisms or funky ideas feel free to stick your ore in and have your say. Cheers for looking! Kris |

First up I thought I would show you all the AD:TL force I am working on. I have had them sat around for a while waiting for FW to get the Warhounds back in stock and trying to think of what I wanted to do to make them a bit special. Once the Warhounds arrived I decided that I was going to go with an urban war theme against some Feral(ish) Orks. Al that is left to decide is what colour I want to paint go for. I am leaning towards the Legio Astorum from IA:6 but any other cool looking schemes would be good if you know where to find some on the net. I think Blue would go well as the main colour though with the darker basing I will be having. So on to the photos; The first of my two Warlords, (I have kept the standard weapons fit as I think it is nice and versatile, if a little weighted toward anti tank.) ![]() For the Second Warlord I got a little bit more adventurous with the base. ![]() ![]() I had an idea that I wanted to do a lone hunter Warhound designed to dart in and finish off any wounded pray, not that good in the game but feels cool from a fluff stand point with his twin plasma blastguns to stalk out of cover and finish off any damaged engines. ![]() Then I wanted a solid Warhound pack with some versatility with the idea being that one has gotten a little too close and is stomping a few orks while the other strides to its aid. ![]() And the final pair of Warhounds I have one chasing orks down a road to be ambushed by its partner with some over the top inferno cannon action. ![]() I am currently converting an old Reaver I had lying around and did not like the weapon options I had for it, it was missing its carapace mount, and was armed with twin trubolasers. My plan is to convert up a corvus assault head (with some modifications to the carapace) so that I can field some infantry in smaller games where I done want to field the Imperator. So with its supporting role in mind I decided to change the arm weapons to a Gatling blaster and Melta Cannon, Not having a Gatling blaster or Melta Cannon meant that again the Plasticard would have to come out and here is what I have done so far. ![]() ![]() Any ideas for the assault head, more basing ideas, or colour schemes would be appreciated as well as comments on the work so far. Cheers Kris |

I love 'em! Lots of character with the Orks on the bases, the madboy running through the door is my favorite. Is that how you decided to use the Orks, or are you doing an army with the leftovers? The warhound stepping niggles at me, it looks too much like a wobbling Gargant without the leg repositioned. However, the PCard work on those weapons is top class. If you can do those, you can do the leg in a more natural position, I'd think. |

Very nice stuff The warhound with the 4 orks on his base seems a bit drunken to me ![]() |
