I ordered some flux for soldering and i got an AD-MAIL from the company (China) and it was featured -seams to be some kind of hand mould-able silicone rubber it sounded like it would be suitable but that`s not what they are selling it for.

I've heard about it and some of my colleagues use it, it seems expensive for how much you get....

I have used siligum from gedeo for making moulds and that stuff is brilliant, I highly recommend it

It seems to be readily available on e-bay which is a positive, may have to check that out.

gedeo siligum is good because it's fast to make a mould, takes about 2 mins to make a small 2-part mould, it's really soft so picks up detail well, it's also quite capable of handling molten metal too, with a max working temp of 300 celsius

I've had great results with it using kneadatite/milliput, resin and metal

it's probably less suitable for very big components where you really should be thinking of using pourable silicone

not tried it, but I don't think I would due to the price. Do you want to make moulds for metal, resin, or greenstuff?

pretty much anything would be cheaper, and pretty much everything can be bought on ebay!

(also pretty sure there are recipes online to make replica sugru from household goods)

I was thinking of some flat backed skulls for vehicle decoration, probably milliput.

would recommend a GS milliput mix, the GS stops the crumbliness of the milliput, the milliput hardens the GS, about a 80:20 mix of GS to milliput respectively works well

Kyuss' suggestion works, Milliput, GS any mix works. My personal preference for such work is super sculpy, to which you can also add sculpy mould maker if (only needed for undercuts).
