Yea, I love how those tufs work. Ziterdes does something similar (http://www.ziterdes.de/ziterdes/en/inde ... variant=en).

Malakai, I'll admit, I was a little freaked out by your signature. I hadnt ever heard of the band, and their name bugged me. Now, Ive heard the song and I cant stop listening to the album :)

If some of you are interested in how I made some strong anti-grav stands, here is a tutorial I made for Epic40k.fr: link. It's in french but google translate may help you if pics are not self-explained enough :)

I did something similar for my Eldar.

Took a GW 25mm Round, drilled a hole through it with an appropriately sized bit (67 gauge in this case) and threaded it with a paperclip with a right angle bend, then super glued in place.

Looks very good, except aircraft need longer stems to raise them above the Skimmers...

Using a base without a hollow bottom, scribing/Dremeling a slot into the base for the clip to sit in should also work.

The plastic 40K scarabs come with little variable height "skimmer stands" already. I just used them.

I bought mine second-hand on ebay. Low price but when stripping the paint, I broke all the plastic skimmer stands and I need a replacement solution.

So, something's new, I finish painting the first Obelisk, I completely repaint it as I was not satisfied by previous result:

Still 3 more to complete Obelisk detachment :P
