This is mainly just letting off steam but I've lost an entire box of unpainted (thankfully not my World Eaters) epic chaos miniatures! From all my plastic infantry to all the defilers I bought from Otterman including the 2 brass scorpions I've converted. I've checked every box I own in the house and they're nowhere to be found. It's maddening!! I don't know what to do. Bah!!!

Retrace your steps ... where you went ... what you did ...  Is it possible they were stolen if you had taken them somewhere for gaming ?  Or if not ... they are probably in your house somewhere ....

Dobbsy,

Keep looking. I experienced a similar set of circumstances with a box of my 40K stuff. I turned the house upside down, checked all of the stores where I had played in the previous month and only after starting the search all over again, foot by foot, did they suddenly and miraculously appear.

It was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. They were literally right before my eyes the whole time. I didn't see them, none of my family could see them, then BOINK, there they were.

So don't give up just yet. Like me, you may not have generated enough blood, sweat, and tears yet.

I'm rooting for you!

I've lost count of the number of times this has happened to me when I've been searching for something for days, only to find it sitting on my desk, or similar.

Like, at least three times

Start looking for some other minis you want. You won't find them but all the stuff you don't want will be the first stuff you come across  :p

I can't tell you how much truth there is in that statement.  :agree:  :agree:

I have had a few of those moments.  Say where your looking for your glasses or keys and they are in your hand.  Doh Doh

Mean while in another part of the world.
"Dude, look what I found...some small weird looking tanks.  I think I will give them to my little 3 year old brother"

2 weeks later - said brother eats one of the tanks and is taken to the hospital.
1 day later - Mother throws away said tanks.

Good luck in finding them.

That sucks! Hope you find them! They lost inside the house or out somewhere? If the latter try the police/lost property on the offchance they are found and handed in maybe.

Yeah, that's happened to me, too. I once thought that I had lost a Phantom Titan I had won off ebay, only to discover that it had been in my car for at least two weeks.

The only ray of light is that I know I never took them out of the house. My worst fear is they got chucked out by mistake in a clean up somewhen.   Part of me syays that is nuts because the box weighed so much.

Have you checked under the dog?

unfortunately it was a stand of orc commandos

I recomend moving house!  I always find all sorts of weird stuff when I do that (ocassionally this has included entire armies I had forgotten about).

I have had this happen quite a few times.  I have spent days looking for something, litterally taking my whole collection out of the gaming room and repacking it back in thinking I had checked everything.

Then I find it in some retarded place where I would "never" have put them and thus had skimmed over in my search.
