Hi guys, Just thought I should start a log of all my stuff, somewhere I can dump all my craziness and hopefully finish some armies. I'm doing well with my Mantis Warriors and got a lot of Pre Heresy Luna Wolves done so that's a start. First up my Warp Palace of Tzeentch and some Silver Tower proxies: The towers are made from 40K Tau gun drones with the guns glued on top to form the towers. Simples. The warp palace was a little harder to build as there was no definitive model to recreate. I went for a more Jabba the Hutt's floating barge from Return of the Jedi. I think I pulled it off well enough but I leave that to my humble readers... D. |

Very interesting ideas. Ill definitely be basing my silver towers on gun drones when i get round to tzeentch having seen this. Those crisis suit plasma gun thingys also make very effective towers. ![]() |

Thanks Apoc, just a few kit bashes, nothing even remotely in your league or most of the crazies here who can bend greenstuff and plasticard to their will. Will get round to finishing the constructs and hopefully Nealhunt will have decided which way he wants to go with the list, whether using the Warp Palaces as floating titan-sized war engines or keeping them as is. I like 'em, if I were in the mood for Tzeench I'd definitely be borrowing. A personal preferance would be to keep all the towers more organic and flowy (yes I know it's not a word, but it should be) looking, perhaps by mixing some Eldar bitz in. |

SG: I think if 2 people use it then it counts as a word so flowy it is. Eldar parts may be a good choice and they might make it into a second unit if I make it. D. |

I love the warp palace tons. The towers are a creative take on an old unit but when I look at them I think "tau gun drone assembled incorrectly". It hard to shake that seeing how the parts used are very easily identifiable. |
