Keeping with the daemonic theme, I finally painted up the nurgle deamons that i traded with Ulric last month :P
Half slug, half sea-lion, all face-meltingly ugly:

Excellent! Could you drop me a mail with a high-res version of that Beast Of Nurgle? It would be nice to update the picture in NetEpic Gold with the correct miniature :)

I think he's suggesting that he forgot to paint it. Although fluff-wise I suspect it would be another chaos deity that paints his own toe nails ::)

Last weekend a tac-commer asked me if i could sculpt a wolf, i didn't know if i could, but said i would give it a go :)

test cast result on standard sized base:

It is a BIG wolf, but sits well with comparable stuff (like microworld games boar riders) and is almost exactly half the size of a GW BOFA wolf.

early WIP (most of the master was carved from sprue, with a thin GS skin for the fur) next to a BOFA wolf for scale

I think I would be Banish from the Tower of Angels and from the Legion if I started a Space Puppies Army..... ::)

Hmm well apparently photobucket is doing maintenance so i can't link new pictures, anyway...

I tend not to put much effort into basing my minis, and always do it all after the figures are painted, by which point I can't really be bothered to put much effort in. So I have decided to experiment a bit to improve. I tried some GS epic scale paving stones (worked but boring) and attached are two pics of a jungle style base (figs aren't painted so well, it was the base i was interested in :) )

I like it, but I think the camo works to well for an effective display base! :P

Dear Lord - imagine facing a sea of that across the table. You'd have to put markings on the base edges.

Damn it's tempting though.
