How did you make the flames? or was it part of the model?

The flame was just sculpted (GS/milliput) over a length of thin brass rod, painted up and then veeeery carefully glued onto the end of the gun.

That is so cool. Normally I don't much like moulded flames, but here you've really made it work. Fantastic.

Oh you're slipping Apoc! The heat and flames don't blacken/burn any of the grass or moss growing on the trees! Your worst effort yet. ;) :D

In the words of South Park's Cartman - "Tertilly freakin sweete!"

Well done mate. Inspirational is a bit of a bland terms for it really.

Very cool. Could you give us a shot of the flamer barrel?

Great vision using the flock striping on the twigs. You've made a really convincing jungle scene & the flamer base is ace! 8)

Have you thought about placing any vines between some trees? A couple of pieces of copper wire loosely wrapped together might work for 6mm.

Yes, i was planning to do this at the start, and then when it came to it im afraid that it was on the wrong side of the can't be bothered line ;D

Wait, that bothered you and the fact that in the picture the flame jet is casting a shadow directly onto the patch of ground which it is meant to be illuminating did not? ;) but ye, again, im afraid i was too lazy ???

This is a bit awkward in the trees im afraid, i should have taken picture before i painted it. A couple of the other pics i took of it yesterday show a tiny bit more. It was just three pieces of plastic, 1 small bit of 1mm sheet shaped for the perforated muzzle bit (i just painted black spots on rather than drilling it out) a small piece of bent rod for the ignition and a small rod slice on the end for the nozzle
