I can not seem to find online retailers other than GW for Epic. I'm not terribly excited about paying for retail so anyone have any good sites they have used to purchase the anything in the current line-up? |

If you want actual Epic figs your only options are direct from GW or ebay. |

No unfortunately GW are a bunch of nazis when it comes to independent stores carrying their current product lines (particularly the specialist games ranges). I can't remember the full details, but it is pretty understandable that only few bother to sell the stuff. |

Whilst calling GW 'a bunch of nazis' is pretty stupıd, ıt ıs true that they don't allow external webstores to stock SG products like Epic. |

Seriously though: Keeping that tight control on how your product is sold (to prevent it from detracting from the sales of your more popular lines) IS excessive. I'm not sure if you were frequenting the boards at the time E&C but I do remember the threads here about independent retailers complaining how GW were hasseling them to the point where they simply gave up trying to sell their products because of the limitations and rules imposed upon them. We had some rather emotional debates about how this was killing the promotion of the game. While I'm certainly no business expert, I do understand that GW might want to optimize the sales of certain product ranges. However I have never heard of any other company going to such lengths trying to control what an independant retailer does. |

Craftworld Games are a good uk webstore selling second hand epic bits, I've dealt with them a couple of times and found them good. |

Nah that'd be mostly before my time, and yeah it's pretty silly of GW to flat out not allow SG products to be sold... but I'm pretty sure that nazis tend to behave a bit worse than that.

Check with your local hobby retailer. Chances are that they can order the stuff for you IF they still do bitz orders from GW Mail Order. I recently received my Chaos hordes boxes through my LGS (US). |
