Hello,

I have seen some 6mm defilers and death wheel models floating around the net.  I was hoping to get some information from the boards on whom to talk to about maybe getting a few of these beauties. Thanks for any help.

The only ones I've seen have been converted or built from scratch (and some right fine ones at that!). Maybe those that have done them can post links to tutorials on how they made them.

The Defilers are compliments of Otterman from these boards and the Deathwheels are indeed scratchbuilts

Otterman has some models people use for Defilers.  Reaver has a giant wheel engine.

Audrey's Oubliette has some great scratchbuilds with parts guides and instructions.  There was also a Fanatic Online article with slightly different guides, using more easy to find parts than Audrey.

The model suitable as a death wheel proxy is OOP now.

Thanks for the info, the Death Wheel does not look too difficult to make.

Not really. Two 40mm circular bases and some loose tread links. The side sponsons can be made from lots of differents bits. Personally I've used hatch coupolas from the Chaos accessory spure.
