That's an ugly prospect. The only thing that I've found that works as a solvent for CA is acetone/fingernail polish remover. Resin exposed to acetone can become soft and lose detail depending on the piece you are working on. You might be able to selectively apply acetone and work on the other sections of the model carefully with a knife. Definitely try some acetone out on a test section of the model first. |

Try freezing it and then levering it off with a steel pick/probe. You may get a single gouge mark that needs to be repaired. Wear eye protection - I've had hardened glue pop off with serious force before. |

Depending on the mini, I've had luck with this process with LR turrets; -Freeze said miniature for 1-2 hours -Remove from freezer and carefully score glued area with Exacto-knife. -Apply acetone (common fingernail polish remover) to desired area. I tend to use a toothpick or paperclip for application. -Allow 1-2 more hours to pass, then carefully and slowly lever desired piece away from the chassis or body of model with an Exacto-knife. If possible, lever piece carefully from multiple directions, to prevent any damage. I've had pretty good results with Leman Russ and Chimera turrets. |

Simple green soaking also seems to degrade super glue. |

I tend to use a product called Super Clean. It strips paint, degrades super glue and softens green stuff so it can be pulled off a model. It's completely safe for metal and plastic, but resin is a little trickier as it can make resin soften up and become like rubber if left in too long. |

What about superglue debonder? I've never used it on resin, but it's worked on other substances. |

Yeah, duh, I should have thought of that too. I keep some around due to the number of incidents in which I glue myself to myself. I considered attaching a photo of this very activity from the film "American Pie 2", but decided not to. |

As O'man says I stripped my lightnings and the super glued wings came off when I took them out of the bath. Some careful removal of excess glue with a knife and they were good to go. |
